Acceleration proportional to force

To Show that acceleration is proportional to force

The time was calculated using the mains electricity.          The mains cycles every 0.02 seconds.

A line of sulfur and a gap on the track is 0.02 seconds.      The distance was calculated using a ruler.

Velocity calculated using formula V = D/T.                       Acceleration = V – U / total time.

Errors = On ruler +/- 1mm      With timer +/- 0.02 seconds    Balance error when finding known masses.

Accuracy = Use longer track, this could then be used to reduce time and distance percentage errors.
